Myofascial trigger points (MTrPs) are a key factor in many pain conditions, including fibromyalgia. They often cause persistent pain, loss of function, and movement difficulties. Treatment options include manual therapy techniques like dry needling (DN), correcting posture and movement issues, and restoring normal function.
DN is a specialized technique that uses a thin needle to target MTrPs and surrounding tissues. This helps reduce neuromusculoskeletal pain, improve movement, and treat muscle, fascia, and connective tissue dysfunctions. The result? Reduced pain, restored function, and better overall mobility.
This is the sixth Dry Needling course by Myopain Seminars at RECOUP, Bengaluru. Previous courses have been taught by experts like Dr. Jan Dommerholt (2015), Erik Wijtmans, Rob Stanborough (2018), and Dr. Deepak Sharan (2018, 2019).
